Brasfield & Gorrie’s commitment to Birmingham has only increased since our company was founded here in 1964, and we have grown to become the largest general contractor in Alabama. As of 2023, we’re also the largest privately held company in Birmingham. That growth is the result of years of commitment to serving clients of all sizes in our hometown, from state-of-the-art hospitals and stadiums to local churches and nonprofits. In the past decade alone, we’ve generated more than $4.6 billion in revenue from nearly 500 projects across Birmingham’s seven counties. Our hometown portfolio includes company landmarks like our first self-perform job—the original Cooper Green hospital in Downtown Birmingham—as well as iconic projects like Protective Stadium at the BJCC and City Walk BHAM.
