Brasfield & Gorrie recently completed the Milo’s Tea Tulsa Expansion Project, which doubled the facility’s capacity. The 1,600 sq ft expansion project includes filling and labeling rooms, additional loading docks and parking. This expansion project comes two years after the completion of the existing facility, which the general contractor also built.

“Milo’s values align with Brasfield & Gorrie because they care about honest relationships and understand how to be agile and excellent—so much so that they built our world-class Tulsa facility during COVID-19 on time and on budget,” said Milo’s Tea Company CEO Tricia Wallwork. “Due to explosive growth, Milo’s needed to double capacity in Tulsa only two years after opening the doors, and we knew we wanted to work with Brasfield & Gorrie again because of their expertise, quality and values-driven culture.”

The existing 105,000 sq ft facility consists of an 80,000 sq ft production area, a large-scale cooler, finished office spaces, an 11,000 sq ft quality assurance/quality control laboratory, loading docks and administrative offices.

“Brasfield & Gorrie is honored to leverage our expertise in food and beverage construction to support the growth of Milo’s Tea Company,” said Vice President and Division Manager Michael Tortorici. “We are grateful for our ongoing relationship with Milo’s Tea, with which we’ve worked since 2015.”

The general contractor has completed more than $3 billion in industrial projects, with more than $557 million in food and beverage projects completed or in progress.
