Martin Dam Powerhouse Crane Structure Rehabilitation

When the 200-ton crane at Martin Dam reached a point that it needed to be replaced, there was an issue: the existing crane structure was insufficient to support the new crane loads. Brasfield & Gorrie was brought in to rehabilitate the structure to install the new crane. The project consisted of three main components—vertical frames, rivet replacement, and anchor chair stiffeners—that put our team in a position to succeed.
